Evening all,
Mainly a celebratory email and a reminder of details for this weeks Mota-vation, but do keep on reading and take note of the crucial details!
🏅 Medal Monday 🏅
In stark contrast to last week, it’s been a busy weekend on the running front for members!
The weekend saw victories in various forms: Henry Larard took 🥇 in his race; Gideon Hedley and Kev Whiteley were reunited at Bicester parkrun as they both continue their recovery from illnesses which have stopped them running much in 2025 and; two teams ran the Ridgeway Relay and didn’t have to fight the heat of the last week, competing valiantly in the process! ❤️💪
Here’s the breakdown of the others to say well done to 👏👏
🏃♀️ MK 24 – Katy Andrews, Lisa Horwood, Peter Clark
🏃♂️ Bedford AAA 10k – Steph Giles 🥈(🥇V35), Jonathan White (🥈V45)
🏃 Brackley Chicken Run – Henry Larard 🥇, Richard Francis 🥉, Jan Larard, Shaun O’Gorman
Do check out the posts on the Facebook page and Instagram for photos and if we missed you, do let me know and share your pics!
☀️🍻🏃♂️ Next summer social run
The next summer social run will be on Thursday 10th July and will include a recce of the Alchester 5k in Marsh Gibbon. Look out for further details in coming weeks.
For those that don’t know, our social runs replace our normal Thursday club run and are in a different location each time, with the routes tending to take in at least some countryside and ending with drink(s) (and sometimes food).
