Evening all,

Hope you had a great weekend and have had a good start to the week! Here are this week’s key Alchester updates for you.

🏅 Medal Monday 🏅
As far as I’m aware, there weren’t any members taking part in any challenges or events this weekend. However, the praise and accolades this Monday should go to the race committee, marshals and runners of the Alchester 5k. It was brilliantly organised, marshalled and run and was yet again a fantastic advert for Alchester! So thank you and well done!

Photos from the 5k by the brilliant Simon Godfrey can be found here.

I am now on holiday until 1st September, so if you have any photos for Medal Monday, please send them to Sarah Morley for the next few weeks.

☀️ 🏃‍♂️🍻 Next summer social run
The next summer social run is this Thursday 14th August and will be in Duns Tew, meeting at The White Horse Inn and then staying for food and drinks after the run.

After a bit of back and forth with the pub, they seem to be happy not to take pre-orders and have also not been forthcoming with a menu, so it’s going to be a case of rock up and have a drink and see what there is to eat!

⚽️ Fantasy Football
If fantasy football is your thing and you’d like to enter the Alchester league, details can be found here.
