Summer social runs return

For those that donβt know, our social runs replace our normal Thursday club run and are in a different location each time, with the routes tending to take in at least some countryside and ending with drink(s) (and sometimes food).
parkrun takeover
We are going to do a Bicester parkrun takeover on Saturday 7th June which will include providing all the pacers and marshals as well as a few other things. If you’d be willing to help in some capacity please let Gleds know asap.
We will also head to Esquires coffee shop in Graven Hill afterwards and so it would be great to see as many of you as possible whether that he helping or running. More details on the takeover in the coming weeks.
Marshals for Mota-vation
As a club, we need to provide 2 marshals for the second Mota-vation race on 29th May at Oxford. If you and/or a family member/friend can help, please let Alan Bowen know this week.

β° 18:55 meet for a 19:00 start at the car park
π Whitelands
ππββοΈ 1/2/3/4/5/6min with half the time jog recovery eg run for 1 min, recover for 30 secs etc. All will be explained on the night if youβre not sure!

πββοΈ The route is a 8.5km/5.5 mile loop along canals, through fields and up and over some hills! There is a shortcut which makes the loop 6km if this is preferable.
πββοΈ π Thereβll be a group for everyone whatever pace youβd like to run at with assigned leaders for each group!
πΊ Weβll head into the pub after for drink(s) but unfortunately no food will be available as the kitchen is closed on Thursdays.
