A few different bits to this weeks update.

Movember – Spot The Signs campaign: can you spot a bro who’s feeling low?

Following on from our #RunandTalk social run last month, the following resources might be useful for you or your family, friends and colleagues. The Movember campaign this year has a particular focus on encouraging men to open up and talk about the mental health challenges they may be facing. Let’s keep looking out for each other.

You might want to take part in ‘Move for Mental Health’ by running a total of 60km during the month of ‘Movember’ (if you are wondering why that distance has been chosen, it’s in memory of the 60 men lost to suicide every hour globally). Feel free to tag Alchester on social media with your pictures if you ‘Grow a Mo’ – looking forward to see how the ‘taches are coming along at our awards night!

Cross Country – This Sunday

Full details of the first race of the Oxford cross Country league can be found on the link below. Men’s race is at 11:20 & ladies 12:00.

Tent will be set up. Bakers welcome to bring along Hollywoodesque offerings.

Bring some safety pins & you’ll need to collect your number from the tent. Simon & Alasdair have negotiated the somewhat cumbersome registration system.

Don’t lose your number & make sure you have got a club vest. If you haven’t let us know.

Club nights

Tuesday is mile reps. Meet at railway end of Gavray Drive

Thursday is normal club night. We’ll mix things up & do new routes. Be great to see plenty of people. Relaxed group in place as ever & newbies always welcome.

Have a good week.
