Hi,

Busy weekend of races with Winslow, Wokingham & Bourton 10k. The wins we will say made them all “challenging.”

Well done to the 2 members who secured maximum club championship points at Winslow 10k. Picture below with Anke’s husband David photobombing & getting in on the action.

We had a bumper 10 turnout at Wokingham & some PB’s, great runs & some winding back the clocks. Photo below of 3 of our ladies – the men failed abysmally on the photo front. Thanks to Peter Clark’s wife Emma for her support & encouragement & photos (you might have noticed a theme here….).

Finally we had Chris Lumley at Bourton 10k running an excellent time but in full solidarity with his male colleagues we have zero photos but it’s on Strava so it counts for any conspiracy theorists out there.

All the photos will be up on Instagram & Facebook today.

Tuesday session – 800m reps with 60 secs rest
⏰19:00 at Gavray Drive – meet at the railway end
🏃🏃‍♀️everyone welcome
🤷‍♂️ 800m reps up & down Gavray – as many as you are able but plan is for 6

💡 Thursday session 💡
⏰18:55 for a prompt 19:00 start.
🤷‍♂️ groups will be sorted on the night by a member of the new committee but something for everyone – be prepared for a group to save time
💡it’s still a bit of random game of which lights around Bicester might be out each week so please be aware & careful & would suggest a headtorch.. 🔦
🤷‍♂️Each group is earmarked to all finish at the same time & it’s very important people keep together particularly now it’s darker & cooler evenings

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Final cross country at Henley – Sunday 02 March 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
This Sunday is the final cross country of the Oxfordshire League at Henley & hopefully as many of those entered will be running to enable the teams to end the season strongly.

Have good runs & after yesterday’s run could be a tad slippy!

Have a good week – further update to follow later in the week.
