Hi,

Message 1 is really important, please have a read through & familiarise yourself.

Defibrillator Map UK

For those who were at Bicester Parkrun on Saturday you will be aware of an incident which thankfully has ended up ok but could have been worse without the Parkrun defibrillator.

Below is a link to the map of all UK defibrillators. We are hoping to do a session one night on using them in the very near future but whilst you’re out running, particularly on a Thursday session it is handy to know if the worst case scenario arises. You could help to save another runners life.

It was brought fully home on Saturday as the person was a regular and not unfit.

Thursday session – the reverse loop week & group leaders required

🤷‍♂️ Again we’ll try & keep to 5 pace groups this week with the aim of having something for as many people as possible.
For a change this week we’ll run our normal routes in reverse.
Please be careful at junctions & on corners as the weeds & verges are high & visibility not always the best.
Group 99 (you can’t run eating a 99🍦!) – group lead required
– Group 1 – 9:45 min miling doing about 5.5 miles – group lead required
– Group 2 – 8:45 min miling doing about 6 miles – group lead required
– Group 3 – 8 min miling doing about 6.5 miles – group lead required
– Group 4 – 7:20 min miling doing about 8 miles – group lead required

⏰18:55 for a prompt 19:00 start. Routes will be posted on Strava.

Everyone welcome & group leaders encouraged to put their hand up. 🙋‍♂️ 🙋‍♀️

Keep your eyes peeled for email 2 later this week
