This weeks update below which contains important information about our first social run of the year.

Thursday Group Run & Drinks – This week Thursday 16th March

A reminder that this Thursday’s club run is starting and finishing at the car park outside the Emmanuel Church adjacent to the Co-op next to the Bure Farm pub OX26 3HA. Please arrive at 6:50pm for a prompt 7pm start.

We will have several paced groups – faster, medium and relaxed pace.

Katy Andrews has kindly offered to lead the relaxed pace group aimed at 10-11 minutes per mile and run approx 4-5 miles. Any questions feel free to contact Katy.

After the run we encourage everyone to come along for a drink even if you’re not running. We will be in the Bure Farm Pub from 8pm with a reserved section. Please join us and bring some warm clothes if you’ve run.

Trail Run – Sunday 19th March (this Sunday)

If you’re looking for an alternative to the lumps & bumps of Banbury in the club championship & the first Oxon Grand Prix race of the season Sophie Dale has offered the opportunity to join her on a 13 mile trail run starting from Caversfield at 09:00.

There’s a 9 mile option which Sophie can give details of too.

If you’re interested & want to know more drop Sophie a message.

If you can’t make this Sunday they’ll be further opportunities throughout the year.
