Social Run ***Tonight*** – Thursday October 3rd – Bure Farm Pub – 7pm start.
Come and join us for a run followed by drinks in the pub.
We focus on social and not speed for this one. We will have several groups from 11 minute mile pace through to 8 minute mile pace. So if you haven’t run for a while and want a relaxed pace this is for you.
We’ve booked our usual section of the pub for drinks from 8pm so even if you’re not running feel free to pop in and have a drink.

Please note this will replace the usual club run from the sports centre.
Alchester Annual Awards Night Dinner 25th Anniversary
Our annual awards event this year will be on the evening Saturday 16th November. Venue – Bicester Hotel Golf & Spa https://www.bicesterhotelgolfandspa.com/ .
This is Alchester’s 25th anniversary and we’d love to get as many people as possible along to celebrate the club and also the season’s award winners.
The evening is open to members, family & friends. It would be great to see any past members as well so if you’re in contact with anyone who previously ran with us feel free to invite them along.

More details will follow over the coming days but expect the usual awards and London Marathon place to be announced whilst we enjoy a 3 course dinner, a few drinks and a dance.

Alchester Performance of the Year 2024
Every year, it’s sometimes difficult to know exactly who has done what, so it’s not easy for everyone to select a winner for the Performance of Year at our end of season awards.
Ahead of the actual voting for the awards, we’d like to receive nominations for other runners in the club (or yourself!) for who you think deserves to be in the running for Performance of the Year.
All worthy nominees will then have their performances listed in the awards voting, so that we can celebrate all achievements, and then all give voters a better idea of what they’re voting for.
