Car Parking – Follow round to the right after entering the estate

There are different arrangements this year with separate access for entry & exit to alleviate the queueing issues from last year. To further reduce potential congestion please car share where possible. Please ensure the directions of the car parking marshals are adhered to when parking your vehicle.

The Alchester tent & flag will be up as soon as possible. As it’s the first race of the season we would suggest getting there earlier to make sure you collect your number in plenty of time. Number is collected from our tent (don’t throw it away afterwards as you’ll need this for the rest of the series).

Men’s race is at 11:20 & Women’s race at 11:50.

It’s likely to be wet underfoot so trail shoes or spikes, whichever you’re comfortable in, just tie those laces tight!

Make sure you bring some dry & warm clothes for afterwards. We’ll have some flasks for hot drinks (normal tea, coffee & milk) so would suggest everyone brings a mug. If anyone fancies bringing a cake or a sausage roll your club mates will hold you in high esteem!

We’re not formally arranging lift sharing this time but I’m sure if you’re looking for a lift putting a message on Facebook will generate a response & you can arrange accordingly. Don’t forget there’s no car park fee this year.

Finally run well & enjoy it. Remember all you have to do is try and beat the person in front of you!

All the best on Sunday.
