Social Events

Alchester Running Club organises a range of social events throughout the year. These include summer evening social runs held at local pubs in the area. In previous years, club members have visited Dublin to compete in a race and enjoy a weekend of sight seeing and socialising along with away weekends to Coniston and Hastings.

Hi everyone. Hope your running and other activities are going great. Just a quick food update on the First Alchester Social run of the 2017 season on Thursday 18th May at Red Lion Stratton Audley ( but no doubt you already know that part.. all going to plan). Food will be very nice indeed. Frank the Landlord has advised that it will be.

Cottage Pie
Vegetarian Lasagne
Salad
Garlic Bread.

(if anyone has any special dietary needs can you drop a line to social@alchester-runningclub.co.uk).

Frank the landlord wants to look after us so is also leaving the marque up for our use in the Beer Garden at the Red Lion.

A few of our stalwart members have already been out running the recon last night and all looks good. Further course checks will be undertaken across the MultiTerrain 5.5k and 10k ish course before our social.

Unfortunately We could not get our friend Mo as our mystery guest but we have found a mystery sponsor for some spot prizes!

So if you have not yet confirmed your attendance can you please let us know by emailing social@alchester-runningclub.co.uk. Have a great weekend all .
